Integrations offers

The “Miteinander vorwärts” association proposes German-language and integration courses. Not only language skills, but also information on daily life, are provided. These include, for example, subjects such as relations with neighbours, friendship, school, hobbies and culture. The offer obviously also includes German courses, both for beginners and advanced students.

The “Basler Kurszentrum für Menschen aus fünf Kontinenten” (K5) offers German and integration courses once a year to foreign women who have recently moved to Riehen. These intensive courses take place each year from August to December. They last 14 weeks overall, each morning from Monday through Thursday. Mothers may leave their children at the day-care centre included in the course offer. While their mothers study, the children are also stimulated to learn German in a playful setting.

The courses offered by the “Miteinander vorwärts” association and the “Basler Kurszentrums für Menschen aus fünf Kontinenten” enjoy the financial support of the city of Riehen and of the canton of Basel-Stadt. Please register directly with the two institutions. Seize this opportunity!
